Every Sunday, the She Reads Truth community shares a verse and encourages all of its followers to memorize scripture and meditate on it. This week's verse is Esther 4:14b. After writing the verse, I paraphrased it just to directly apply it to my life. Here's what I wrote...
It's so easy to get caught up in tests and trials that we don't realize how God can take our messed up pasts and use them for a specific purpose for good. Romans 8:28 says, "And we know this phat all things worth together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
Maybe everything that you're going through or have gone through has a purpose that you just can't see. You could be on the precipice of something so great! Don't give up! Everything you've gone through has been a purposeful part of preparation for the greater that is coming! Rest in that! That's what I'm learning to do... God can take all of your mess and turn it into a message!
Realizing That Greater Is Coming,
Dear God, You are so amazing! It's amazing how You can take our mess and use it for Your glory! I'll never understand that! All of my wayward decisions as I followed my own will, You can turn around and use it to be glorified. Open doors, God. Help anyone who is struggling with what they've done in the past. Help them come to grips with it and accept that with repentance, You forgive and forget. Use the testimonies of others to drive others closer to You for You to get the glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.
